Description

Steyr Mannlicher MCA in .243 Win with 23 inch barrel featuring a barrel band front ramp style sight with gold blade and a rear sight with one fixed and one flip up tab labeled 300. The scope mounts and rings are the appropriate Redfield style made specifically for the split bridge on this rifle. The action features a crisp, single non-set trigger at set at 3lbs, a Flag style safety on the bolt shroud as well as a tang stalking safety. The bore is bright and shows strong rifling the entire length. The stock is plain walnut with white line spacers appropriate to the era and features the original butt plate, grip cap and foreend tip. Wood condition is about 90% with light crazing on the left side below the action. Metal condition is also about 90% with strong blueing, but with areas of pin point type pitting on the floor plate and ninor areas of the same on the barrel (I could not capture this in the pictures). This rifle has been hunted and has wear appropriate to it's age.
